Resolution stuck at 1024x768 after online update

Hi,
I updated from Leap 15.3 to Leap 15.6 about a month ago, without any issues. I use the KDE desktop.
Yesterday, I did an online update and basically updated everything yast showed me.
When I restarted the computer today, a screen showed up with something about a mok update. I ignored it and continued the boot process… and the resolution is 1024x768. I have a 4k monitor! When I go to display setting, it tells me that my display doesn’t support any other resolution and that Plasma used to allow other resolutions, but that this isn’t possible with Wayland. I believe I didn’t use Wayland before today.
I found a discussion in the German forum about a similar problem after an update from 15.5 to 15.6, but there is no resolution. And re-installing 15.6 from scratch would be simpler than following all the suggestions there.
Is there a simpler solution than I complete re-install?
Thanks, Stephan

Why did you ignore it? As you didn’t import the new (driver) key it seems that the updated driver cannot be loaded.

The motivation for the update yesterday was to close any security holes. Everything else, well, I thought it can’t hurt. I was completely surprised by this ‘mok update thing’ and had no clue what it was about. And I thought it would re-appear if ever it was really necessary… but it didn’t.

I’m on another computer right now. Will try tomorrow. Thanks.

This is not supported.

Clean install is recommended.

For adding the key to the mok database:

I did a clean install. Sorry for the incorrect wording.

Then post

inxi -aFz

Also post:
mokutil --sb-state

Up to now, you have only said:
It is not working.

We are not in front of your Computer, so please show the output from the commands as required.

The import described in SDB:NVIDIA drivers - openSUSE Wiki
followed by the reboot and the ‘mok enrollment’ worked as described! Thanks for your help!
