Resolution Problem

Hi guys,

I am using OpenSUSE 12.2 on my desktop board Intel D2500HN. I am facing resolution problems when connecting to AOC Monitors

1.When I restart a system the resolution downgrades i.e if I set the resolution to 1366x768 it will downgrade to 1024x768 after reboot.This is when I connect to AOC 22’’ monitor

2.When I connect to Acer 17’’ monitor the screen comes with horizontal lines

Any help will be appreciated.Thanks in advance

Yes actually that time I was unable to change the resolution and refresh rate and you asked me to install xf86-video-modesetting package.After installing this package n editing 50-device.conf file I am able to change resolution but now I am facing another problem.

I am using acer 17’’ monitor and in the display settings if I enable both acer 17" and laptop then if I select any icon it shows horizontal lines and If i disable laptop then output is fine but after restarting I see only a mouse pointer on the black screen after login.
