Resolution of Panel in Plasma

Have the main panel in KDE at the top of the screen, with the basic stuff in it ( all the utils/time/date/clipboard/screen capture etc), but have another panel at the bottom of the screen with program shortcuts/running programs/couple of widgets etc.
Panel at the top is always fine, but the one at the bottom, which probably has about 18 shortcuts and other stuff, ‘intermittently’ starts up in REALLY low resolution mode, so it only shows about 4 apps, but if you run the mouse over it, all the apps are there, and can be started… (bit hard to explain…)
If I do a logout/login, or restart, all comes back as it should be.
Anyone else? Any hints?
Thanks.

Thanks.

As I no longer have any 2.37:1 (64:27) screens, I don’t believe it likely possible to reproduce here, so can only speculate on cause or solution. This is the only time I’ve ever seen reported such an issue.

First thing I would try is, logged out of Plasma, removing the content of ~/.cache/ and ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc. If no help I would repeat and follow-up with command “kbuildsycoca6” after logging into Plasma.

Next thing I would try is an X11 session instead of Wayland.

Next I would try removing cinnamon-screensaver.

Next, if cinnamon-screensaver had been installed on account of having cinnamon pattern or patterns-cinnamon-cinnamon* installed, I’d remove it and anything else GTK-related that neither Plasma nor Firefox requires.
