resizing mp4s

I was wondering if anyone can suggest an application and a method to resize mp4 videos. I have an iphone and my application automatically converts the video to mp4 but the files size is absolutely huge. I do 95% of my work on Suse but unfortunately need windows for my phone:X

Thanks
Richard

You could just use windows in Sun Virtual Box (The Sun .rpm has USB support) No re-boot needed then.

Check if avidemux will do it (Packman repo)

you can’t just resize mp4’s like you would with partitions. The only way to lower file size is to lower the bitrate during encoding (for that, you can use a bitrate calculator to estimate final size)

try to google “vidCrop PRO”. I use this cropper, and i guess it’s what you need.

Hi
I’m not sure if handbrake will do what you want?

I’ve just finished building an openSuSE rpm with the gtk interface and
will work on a qt one. I can provide the spec file and instructions on
how to build it.
