Resize on X-Window missing

Hello all,

I have been experimenting with window managers and have decided to
stick with fvwm.

But,

  1. When xterm windows are started, there is no way to resize the window
using the mouse. The pointer just doesn’t work.
  2. There is also no menu so there is no way to actually close the
    window :frowning:
  3. Is there any way to set the background of the desktop so it is
    something other than gray?

TIA

I haven’t used fvwm is probably 10 years, so I leave 1 & 2 to someone
else, but you can do 3 with xsetroot. Try something like “xsetroot
-solid green”.
