I’ve finally made the move of getting rid of Windows Vista on my HP 8510w laptop and installing openSUSE 11.4. I first installed Ubuntu, but IMHO nothing comes close to openSUSE
Everything is working fine, it even detected the fingerprint reading pad.
I have two questions though and I can’t find the answer on the web.
How do I require the user to type a password with logon?
If I enable the fingerprint reader, it does not allow me to log on using only the password - any ideas?
Using OpenSuse 12.2 RC2. Have same problem, when fingerprint enabled can’t log in with password, only fingerprint. Auto-Login is already disabled. Suggestions?

for caf – CAUTION: there are now TWO questioners in this single thread.
for dtillberg: all questions/reports/discussions on pre-release software must be in the correct forum, here: http://tinyurl.com/2du7r4s
