Here are some AUR packages:

I’m brand new to this Linux Platform but I keep reading during R&D that YaST2 is all that and a bag of potato chips.

Curious, if perhaps, one of you may be so kind to demonstrate how to get this up and running.

Thanks in advance and happy days!

Does not look like anyone has built this for openSUSE so you must compile from source.

Maybe it’s a relatively easy task to underhaul - yea? If you have any wisdom, or can point me into the right direction, that would be awesome. In the mean time, I’ll keep doing some R&D to try and figure this out.

Thanks buddy!

From one of the ArchLinux comments:

There are far better Linux email clients!

most likely all of them will be much less bloated ones.

Which Email Client is your favourite>?

Also, what is ACK?

Evolution is pretty solid, but I didn’t get a chance to test Geary. I think thunderbird is really awesome, but I remember when I was using Windows, I just used a fork called Postbox-Inc which was was really nice. Mailbird too, is also pretty awesome…

Thanks for the headsup!

There is this amazing thing called “Wikipedia”, you might have heard of it.

Now make a guess … (just as a hint, it is not the “Anglican Church of Kenya” … at least not in this case)…

Try this:

Yast > click on “View” and select "RPM Groups > page down to Networking > Email > click on Clients > on the right should be a full list. Pick a couple.

I like Mozilla Thunderbird because it is easy to set up spam filtering.

In Yast > Search> SpamAssassin > install it
(I also add bogofilter)

In Tbird > Edit > Account settings > Junk Settings > set up "Trust junk mail = SpamAssassin
and the rest to suit your personal setup

Have fun!
