Repository problem on OpenSuse 12.1

I have problems to update my OpenSuse 12.1 64 bit system. I receive the message that the repofile ./repodata/2f948ca101c01e452bd4cd38b732689763d07d2c155516434d24035bb0338714-primary.xml.gz cannot be found. This is correct, the file doesn’ t excist any more on download.opensuse.org/update/12.1/repodata . I tried to delete the repository and add it again, but same problems. Any other with the same issue? Yesterday the updates still went fine.

So I just removed my update URL and then added it back in and it is still working just fine. Can you say that yours is still not working properly for you right now? What do you get if you open up a terminal session and type this command:

zypper repos

Copy the text and then paste it into a forum message, using the Advanced message editor and enclose it in a code field (like the command above) and lets see what you get there.

Thank You,

zypper repos

This is what I see now. It’ s only in Dutch :slight_smile:
Ingeschakeld = enabled
Vernieuwen = refresh

Just check this thread
neither yast nor zypper works in opensuse 12.1

It may be similar, read it all!

Here is a listing of repos in my openSUSE 12.1 setup.

zypper repos

# | Alias             | Name                       | Enabled | Refresh
--+-------------------+----------------------------+---------+--------
1 | Packman           | Packman                    | Yes     | Yes
2 | openSUSE_Updates  | openSUSE Updates           | Yes     | Yes
3 | repo-debug        | openSUSE-12.1-Debug        | No      | Yes
4 | repo-debug-update | openSUSE-12.1-Update-Debug | No      | Yes
5 | repo-non-oss      | openSUSE-12.1-Non-Oss      | Yes     | Yes
6 | repo-oss          | openSUSE-12.1-Oss          | Yes     | Yes
7 | repo-source       | openSUSE-12.1-Source       | No      | Yes

In your case, the Enabled and Refresh settings are different from the default. I did add in the main Packman repository and gave it the top Priority. I removed the DVD entry from which openSUSE 12.1 was installed. I had VideoLAN in just long enough to get the file libdvdcss2 for viewing movies and then removed it.

Thank You,

@hjscholing: My guess is you still have the repo for the install media configured…To confirm this, please post output of

zypper lr -d

If you see an entry in this ourput, stating dvd:// or other non-http or ftp address, remove that one. My next guess it’s repo #2.

Ennuh, van harte welkom. We hebben ook een NL subforum, met een aankondiging voor een fijne openSUSE 12.1 Launch Party in het kantoor van SUSE in Alphen a/d Rijn.
