Repository Management - accumulting multiple entries of some Repos

I am well into the process of upgrading my 13.2 desktop to Leap 42.1/KF5/Plasma 5.5.
Generally things are going very well.
I am now at the stage were I am filling in some odd/legacy apps that are not in the primary Repos.
I typically use Suse Package Search, then use 1-click-instal if my oddball app is not already in an already registered repo.
I like one-click - it pulls in everything that is needed.

I am finding that 1 click install frequently attaches duplicate repos - at one point my repositry list had 4 copies of KDE:Extra, all entries identical.

Is this a known issue? With 1 click install or ?
If not, I’ll post a bug somewhere.

Well foreign repos should not be added but you have to either not add the repo or make it disabled. There is an option (or should be) The reason is often these repos are personal play grounds of someone and you never know what packages may get installed inadvertently if left active.

Thanks, I understand your ‘foreign’ comments and recommendations.

The ones I seem to be getting multiples of are what I would call openSUSE non-core repos.
At one point, I even had two identical entries for KFrameworks5.

It is as if the 1-click-install process queries my system, does not recognize that required (dependency) repo A is already installed and brings in another copy, or perhaps more properly, repo entry.
