Here is the output for: zypper lr -d

Is the URL bad for snappy? What am I missing? Can anyone help?

Leap 15.2?
Out of support…

This repository does not exist. What exactly is your question?

Also, you marked your topic as Leap Micro 5.2 while you are asking about repository for Leap 15.2. What distribution are you actually using?

Yes, 15.2

I already posted the output for zypper lr -d. See the original post.

Ok. So if I remove that repository, that will probably fix the error message. I think you answered it.

Yes this is 15.2. I was forced to select a tag, but it didn’t offer 15.2. I choose 5.2 since it was the closest, but should have emphasized that in my post. Sorry for any confusion, but it looks like you figured it out.

I do need to upgrade, maybe that is the final take home message.

Indeed, I doubt zypper up has had much to do for a while, 15.2 reached EOL back on Jan 4th 2022.

As you may know the current release of Leap is 15.4. It’s generally advised to not skip a release, so your upgrade path should be first 15.2 → 15.3, followed by 15.3 → 15.4

If you’re not that familiar with distribution upgrades, or you wish to refresh your memory on one or two points, this guide may be helpful: SDB:System upgrade - openSUSE Wiki

Alternatively, depending upon your existing setup, customisations you may have made to the desktop, amount of user data to preserve, etc. you might want to consider a fresh install rather than perform the two upgrades…

Yeah, you’re probably right. No more updates.

Thanks for the reminder about upgrading. I’ve made the mistake of trying to jump 2 levels once before. Once is enough to learn that lesson.

I’m always a late adopter, because half the time I encounter some surprises. Anyways, it’s time to upgrade now. This thread gave the push I needed.

@tannington Leap 15.3 went end of life Dec 31st, 2022 repositories are disappearing as delete requests are being sent out… @rgietzen might have to find a discontinued repository.

Yes, I knew 15.3 was very recently EOL but I hadn’t realised deletion took place so soon… thought there would have been a short “grace period” of maybe a couple of weeks or so.

Apologies to @rgietzen for potentially misleading information.

@tannington I got mine for my Home and Utilities (I’m a project maintainer there) repos on the 4th… AFAIK, Leap 15.3 will move to a ‘discontinued’ mirror, so still there just have to find and update repository url’s.

Maybe this is a sign to do a fresh install. Thanks for the heads up.
