how can I reset my repositories list and solve the dependencies errors ??
P.S: it’s a fresh install.

There’s an outside chance that you know what you’re doing by having 32 repos. For the rest of us, disable all of them except 17, 25.

And you need to add the oss repo. It should be listed under the community repos in the YaST configuration tool.

After that, you should be able to run ‘zypper dup’ to get updates.

Are you sure all those repos have a beta 5 version? IMO, you should not use
any repos at all while on factory, unless you really know what you are doing…

ok I deleted all the other repos, now I have only these:

las@localhost:~> sudo zypper lr
root’s password:

| Alias | Name | Enabled | Refresh

–±-------------------------±----------------------±--------±-------
1 | DVD | DVD | Yes | No
2 | ftp.uni-erlangen.de-suse | Packman Repository | Yes | No
3 | repo-debug | openSUSE-11.4-Debug | No | No
4 | repo-non-oss | openSUSE-11.4-Non-Oss | Yes | No
5 | repo-source | openSUSE-11.4-Source | No | No

but I couldn’t add the http://download.opensuse.org/11.4/repo/oss/ I get error while the url works fine in firefox.
in community repos list I found http://download.opensuse.org/11.3/repo/oss/
shoud I add it anyway ?
EDIT:
I got this error with Main repository 11.3 too

Error
Adding repository Main Repository (OSS) failed
|] Error trying to read from ‘http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.3/repo/oss//
History:

I’d like to make clear that 11.4 is still under construction, a development release, not ready yet, not stable. It may be stable today, yet leave you without a desktop after tomorrow’s updates, or those of the day after tomorrow. If you’re starting on openSUSE, use a stable version. Don’t know what you’ve already managed to do, from the list of repos I fear the worst. My 2 cents.

I just wanted to try it, I’ve already reported some bugs on the M4, but the M5 works pretty good, not really annoying bugs, only this repository issue.
But Maybe you’re right, it’s better to wait for the final release.

P.S: I could ping a lot of domain names, it worked for all domains except for opensuse.org

You can add the factory repo from this link, although updates could make your system unusable.

Index of /factory/repo/oss

The 11.4 repos do not exist, you have to add the factory repos instead. And
have them on refresh.

Index of /factory-snapshot ← Currently M5
Index of /factory-tested → Something more then M5 but less then raw Factory

can’t create repository from this URL : Index of /factory-snapshot/repo/oss

I have the same problem with the main repos oss non-oss and update on 11.3

problem solved by reinstalling the OS.
So I shouldn’t add other repos like packman, videolan or mozilla ??

[LEFT]You can add Packman, VideoLan and others, so long as they are Factory.

Cheers!
