Replacement for Sax2 in 11.3, and now for 11.4
More details:
This subforum is for:
Comments and/or suggestions about the openSUSE forums
Not for anything about openSUSE itself!
As the openSUSE Forums use Vbulletin and not Sax2, I do not understand why you post here.
Same of course for all the other ones.
I see that there is a strategic discussion of openSUSE (openSUSE News » Timeline for openSUSE’s strategy discussion), I’ll be very happy if they (or you, or even the community, because it will start talks between developers and community) in this discussion, decide that openSUSE, now has more autonomy from Novell, and to take major decision as the creation of the Foundation openSUSE (openSUSE Linux Seeks More Autonomy From Novell), and that the foundation now has more autonomy from Novell, and decides to return or replace the SaX2 (https://features.opensuse.org/308357) because the removal of SaX2 (Archive:SaX2 - openSUSE) of openSUSE, was a decision made by Novell, who preferred not to invest in the development of SaX2, for business issues ([opensuse-factory] The Future of SaX2](http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2009-12/msg00017.html)), for this and other reasons, I am in favor of creation, of Foundation openSUSE, and also decide that the openSUSE, switching to versions LTS (Long Term Support), and that support will last for more of three years, among other points that must be discussed. I just want a better openSUSE.

do you have any concept of multiple forums, each made for specific
purposes…so as to keep discussions within easily findable by others?
this forum, for example has nothing what-so-ever to do with Sax2 or
11.4 (the subject of your first post) nor community strategy…so WHY
do you persist in splashing your thoughts wherever you wish??
conform to our system please.
mods: PLEASE move all of genixinfo’s off topic threads OUT of this
forum, they will only serve to attract more such by folks who google
search into our midst…

DenverD,
Sorry if I disrespected the forum rules, the more I did it because I could not post here (openSUSE News » Timeline for openSUSE’s strategy discussion) so I had to post in various places in a decentralized way, it was through the decentralized, which I found a way to draw everyone’s attention to my proposals.
Then this is a badly thought out place. Only people interested in things about the forums will read these threads I would say. Not the ones you are after.
E.g. I for myself am interested in some of the help forums (those where I think I can play a role) and as a mod in this forum about the forum. And I get new threads in those I am interested in via RSS feeds. And when I get a new thread that does not fit into the correct forum, I am spoiling my time and get irritated by you who will also not get the correct audience. I hope your conclusion will be that it is not only about disrespecting forum rules (but they seem sound enough), but in disrespect of your own interests.
And as long as you do not ask to move them (which I do not hope you do, because it is again a lot of work to us mods), they will stay here and annoy people.
Well - let me see - is this thread in the wrong place in my opinion? Well, not that I would worry about it - it’s fine, imo. I found it here, not looking for it, just browsing. And, it looked interesting. A little “out of place”, but not “in the WRONG place”, I think - after all OP did manage to find the openSUSE forum, so that put’s him at the shooting range, but maybe not on the bullseye, maybe not even on the right target, but at least shooting in the right direction!
LOL!
Sorry, but that is a matter a a few clicks, anything but hard work. Threads get moved almost every day.
Will be implemented SaX3: https://features.opensuse.org/308357
