Ok, I have suse linux 11.1 it’s acting buggy like theres something wrong with it. I want to find & fix this problem without turning my computer off. It might be a virus prolly damage files but I don’t know how to find out which files are being damaged or even altered. How do I Secure 11.1 and how do I find and repair problems on 11.1. If you know of a good webpage that would help me with this really well please let me know.
Viruses aren’t common under Linux. Could you be more specific? What kinds of problems? Is it only with certain applications?
midnight commander has always been a little buggie on my linux opensuse systems, usually after I install circlemud the buddha version and start the ./autorun script. OpenSUSE 11.1 seems to be really bad though laggig when I open midnight commander and when I open telnet. It may be caused by actual people (this comp is not very secure). also I just accidently removed the only panel that i can click to access programs. the one at the bottem of the scree stinks cause I got a panel without the program buttons now.
