Greetings

What command should I use to remove orphaned packages or units?

Thanks.

Define “orphaned”.

There isn’t an equivalent to the Ubuntu “apt-get autoremove” in openSUSE. However, while removing a package with zypper you can use the option -u (or –clean-deps) to remove unneeded dependencies as well or you can set solver.cleandepsOnRemove = true im /etc/zypp.conf to have those packages removed automatically. This is not recommended though (read the comments in /etc/zypp.conf).
