Remove opensuse entry from vista boot

Hello all,

Not sure if this has been answered before, I did a quick search couldn’t find the answer.

I tried to install open suse 11.1 from windows vista. It did something and then rebooted. Every went ok, but not in the boot menu as I boot to windows, I get another menu with Vista and opensuse 11.1 (local).

How do I remove the open suse entry from the 2nd boot menu?

thanks

Is it the textual loader from windows or is it grub ??

If it is windows, then you need a tool like bcdedit to remove it or try fixing the bootloader by booting from the vista DVD, use the repair function and try fixing the bootloader from the recovery menu.

Thanks.

Tried with bcdedit and deleted it. It’s all good now.

thanks
