Remove Logical Partition

I want to remove a Linux native partition (/dev/sdb5) assigned to an older kernel and resize another Linux native partition (dev/sdb7 mount /home). What’s the best way to go about this? I have the cylinder Start/End info. gparted?

Thanks

I like to use Gparted in the Parted Magic LiveCD: Welcome to the Frontpage IMHO, it is best to do that when all the HDDs are not mounted/controlled under the root OS.
