Remove Installer?

Is it possible to remove the installer option on the liveCD? I want the appliance to run as a liveCD without the option to install.

Thanks
Adam

Hi
Search on Yast, there is an installer item, uncheck the option and
rebuild your appliance.

Having done that, would it be possible to preconfigure cairo-dock and essentially lockdown the appliance to make it childproof? I’m making something for a teacher friend of mine who I’d like to see the benefits of open source. I removed yast2 but I’m thinking more in terms of presenting them with just a blank desktop and a launcher with the icons on (easy enough at run-time).

Yep, you can do that - I’ve built a couple appliances like that; one that
just launches the NX client, actually - works really well.

The way I did this is to build the appliance and then run in test drive -
modify and configure the lockdown/app launching stuff, then export those
changes to the appliance using the option in the test drive interface to
do that.
