Apparently forum software was updated and now I have the second search bar in the huge banner that takes up at least 25% of vertical window size. How can I remove it? I certainly do not need yet another search bar on the same screen.
Oh, and search bar jumping in and out is not nice either. Scroll in a message - search bar disappears and is replaced by previous magnifying glass in the upper right corner.

According to KRuler on my system, it’s 1360 pixels wide and 280 pixels high.
- Not such an issue on a screen which is 2160 pixels high but, for my case it’s about 13 % of the screen height …
My tuppence worth – reducing the thing to about 180 pixels high would be better and, if the “Ahoy to … ” font size was reduced, reducing the height to about 150 pixels would be even better – IMNSHO …
