Remove a repository and reinstall all packages rom this rep

Hi all,

My question is simple: How to reinstall all packages that comes from a repository that I removed (because I had problems with the xorg rep for example).

My problem was: I have xorg-* packages from a xorg repository, I had problem with an update so I wanted to come back to the official version (from repo-oss). So I wanted te reinstall all packages that were installed from xorg repo (after removing this repo) to have packages from repo-oss.

I don’t know if I’m clear…if not I can explain better I think

Thanks for help.

You can add the xorg repository back in using Yast → Software → Software Repositories → Add → Specify URL. You can also temporarily turn different repos on and off in that place in Yast too.

You can then go to Yast → Software → Software management and use the “Filter” to display packages by “Repositories” and select specific packages en masse from the repository that you prefer.
