Remote desktop access from OpenSuse to Windows 7

I have a partner located abroad using a laptop running Windows 7.
Sometimes he asks me for technical help about his laptop.

Is there any opensource software to get access remotely from my OpenSuse 12.1 machine to his Windows-7 laptop ?
I need to get access and control on his laptop so that I could do some trouble shooting (when he allows me to do so).

This is kind of remote access service used by support people (e.g. HP or Western Digital) for trouble shooting.

Note: I am familiar with NX (!Machine) for remote session and using between OpenSuse and Ubuntiu machines.

rdesktop is what I use.

Remmina is my favorite ( and it just got acked into factory, so it will
be available from oss-repo for 12.1)
