reinstall bootloader on opensuse 11

Hey guys,
Installed opensuse 11 and a week later decided a re-install of Xp was in order. I knew that it would hose grub but didn’t worry me too much. After xp was up and running I popped in the opensuse 11 DVD, booted, went to system repair, expert and then selected to re-install the bootloader. I had the system read the configuration from disk (which was the correct config btw), reinstalled the bootloader - got a successful message and rebooted. The reboot still goes directly into windows.

Anyone know what I missed here?

You need to install grub in the master boot record (probably ‘grub-install
/dev/sda’) and on the partition that contains /boot (which is likely /). An
install of Windows will mess with the MBR.
