I have been using successfully using the download version of 11.2 for many months. Recently I purchased a copy through the N. American distributor, but the Yast registration tool will not allow me to register my installed product; it gets me in a loop, brings up the initial page to Novell, goes back to the prior page, on and on…
There is no need to register it. Just ignore it and get on with enjoying openSUSE.

And it’s buggy code like that which makes people even less inclined to
bother. Obviously it wasn’t high on the priority list for testing purposes,
and if it isn’t that important to be tested properly…it probably
shouldn’t exist at all. Just makes the distro look bad for those that try
to contribute to the ‘registered user’ count.
