Guys, i have been trying to find an rpm for the red5 streaming server but to no avail. Packman doesnt have it. Any other repo i can get it from?
i havent had the courage to try the build service yet :

It seems that there’s not yet a package for it, either in the standard or user repos.

i just checked / searched the whole forum ( should have done it earlier ) and looks like there are only 2 other posts about red 5…
looks like i have come up dry…

Had a quick look, a bit of work to get an rpm built for it… I might get a chance over the next week to look at it for you?

2. RPM for red5 ? → yes, pls…many thanx in advance. Could i be part of the project. I have never built an rpm in my entire linuxlife…its time to start. I would like to see how the Build Service is used…

I’ve downloaded the source, it’s a Java application and also need to make some scripts for init.d and sysconfig. Should get some time over the weekend to have a further look.

Malcolm, is it…possible… that you look at flumotion? no rpm exists for that as well. i am going to try to install from source.
