Recreate Dolphin widget?

Unfortunately I deleted by mistake the Dolphin widget (icon?) which normally shows up in the system panel (?) in the lower left corner of the display (KDE4).
I tried to use the “Add Widgets…” function of the right mouse button menu “Panel Options”, but the list of widgets does not show a Dolphin entry nor does it allow for adding a generic one…
Any link or immediate help is appreciated very much!

klick on the kicker icon, go to System, File Manager and grab the Dolphin icon with the left mouse button pressed. Now drag it to the panel. It’s kind of tricky, but works.

i think the right way to do it is

1.unlock widgets
2.righ click on desktop(or at widgets icon cant remember)
3.add widget
4.Drag n drop the widget created on desktop to the pannel

Is this the way u are doing it?

or just right-click the application entry in the kicker menu and choose “add to panel” from the context menu.

Ah right, that works in the “new” style only, though. I still prefer the classic style.

That did the trick, thanks a lot!
Cheers,

That does not work as “add widget” allows only to choose from a predefined list of widgets - and Dolphin is not listed.
