Recommendations please on best way to update from 42.1 to 42.3

Normally on my laptop and the dual boot part of my desktop which runs both TW and Leap I simply re-install. However my wife has a laptop which has not been updated to 42.2 and still runs 42.1. I am hoping I can update it straight to 42.3 with some incantation in zypper, the big questions are firstly how and secondly is this a reliable method? Obviously I will back up all her important data prior to any update but I am hoping this will be simpler and quicker than a re-install of the new 42.3 and then put back all the stuff she needs. One small complication is this laptop has dual graphics although currently does not run bumblebee and simply has the second adapter turned off, as she does not need the enhanced graphics for anything she uses it for. Suggestions pleaseā€¦

Hi,
upgrading your Leap system from 42.1 to 42.3 can be done in different ways. You can change the repos and use zypper to upgrade packages, but you can also use the official Leap 42.3 installation medium to upgrade your current system.
Both ways are covered in https://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/leap/startup/html/book.opensuse.startup/cha.update.osuse.html#sec.update.suselinux.
