I would like to suggest to my dentist that he keeps a simple database of his patients that automatically notifies him to send an email or phone message notice when it’s time for the patient to come in again. The Linux databases I have looked at, are in my opinion overly complcated for about 300-500 patients. Might there be a P.I.M. that does the job?
Your advice will be apprecited.
If P.I.M. then, KDE Plasma Kontact – <https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/kontact/kontact/index.html>.
- Associated with the Calendar and the Address Book, there’s a To-Do List where each entry can be configured to be repeated whenever – such as “the last Thursday of every month
” … - You can also “Drag-and-Drop” from the Address Book to the To-Do List …
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve taken a look over it running under 15.4 Beta. It’s a little intimidating as it offers many features, but it looks like it meets all my requirements. Now to learn it and teach the user in a different language.
