recent issues with the forum

There are a couple of recent changes I’ve noticed.

  1. the first item when hovering over the drop-down menus along the top of the page are eschewed like a blank space is being wedged in front of them.

  2. It used to be there was a link near the “My Profile” link that would navigate to http://forums.opensuse.org/usercp.php. I used this because it would show which of my threads have new posts. I don’t remember what it was labeled before.

I did notice the Notification link says it will go to the usercp.php, but looks like the click event to open the drop-down menu gets to it first, and it never makes it to the URL.

Hello dragonbite,

You can use middle-click to open the link in a new tab.:wink:

Nope. Just opens the drop menu with a link to Inbox and any notifications I have (which are none).

I just placed a bookmark on my quick links toolbar for now

As I said, a Man with the know how is busy implementing many changes, some not yet visible.

Has the forums maintanance finished ?

If so the Blue on Blue is back again.

I’ve seen worse examples than that on the internet. However the green on blue words are unreadable here.

+1, and lighter colours seem easier on the eye [strain].

The Blue on Blue is no longer there. I’ve noticed it just now but it was still broken yesterday so I guess it must have been fixed recently :slight_smile:
