If the open source driver is running OK, is there any reason to change to fglrx? I have no ethical problems with using a closed source driver (sorry :X).
I have two GPUs in my computer (Intel/AMD), will fglrx improve the switching (as opposed to vgaswitcheroo)? What about power usage?
Hi
I’m using fglrx at present to get the boost states working (as in active) with the A4-5150M APU which has the Richland Radeon HD 8350G GPU. Plus the system runs a lot cooler…
Thanks for sharing your experiences. What about their ****** release cycle (the driver depending on an old version of Xorg)? Were you able to update openSUSE successfully with fglrx installed?
