I am considering to buy a laptop with a wireless card Realtek RTL8191SE.XXodd, a laptop without Windows preinstalled.
It is possible to download a linuxdriver on the Realteksite. Who has already the experience installing this networkcard.

Search for “rtl8192” or “8192” with the forum’s search function, you will find quite a few threads on this subject.
In short, I would not buy that thing.
If you search the forums for ‘rtl8191’ you will find one post that offers a solution. Welcome to the forums, BTW.
Fun thing is, that “solution” was a lot more fiddling around than the threads I found for the 8192 cards, although the driver packages from Realtek are identical for those two “different” adapters.
I have recently compiled this driver on Mandriva on the laptop of a friend. Easy to do and it works fine. I am sure it will compile the same on Opensuse. Here is the thread detailing it :
