Can someone tell how can i have a network icon in system tray, which shows the flow of data just like in windows.
The problem is many times i dont know whether the internet is working or not. When i download some files & if there is any break in receiving data atleast i come to know, otherwise i wait endlessly not knowing whether i am recieving the data or not. Even many times the internet get disconnected & i dont know. In windows i get a cross sign in the netwrok icon.
Further, also let me know the prgram which can show me my total uploads & download
Thanks
KDE4 provides several Miniprograms (“plasmoids”) for exactly that task.

Can you suggest some, i am trying to find Eyecandy for your KDE-Desktop - KDE-Look.org but not sucessfull.
Thanks
Right-click on the desktop and choose to add a mini program.
Or use one of the other KDE4 Network Monitors available, there are quite a few, google is your friend.

Knemo has to be configured via the KDE4 “system settings”.
