Trying to encrypt folder in Kleopatra like mentioned here:

I tried the (rather obvious) context menu of a map entry listed in Dolphin (right-click). The Actions item there folds out and has items like Archive, Sign and encrypt. Is that what you mean? https://hcvv.home.xs4all.nl/Screenshot-Dolphin-context-menu.png That was a Right-Click a move down and then to the right and then one click to get to the subject.

However have 2 issues:

• can’t encrypt hidden folder (tar file name is wrong - parent folder name)
• it does not encrypt folder with password:
  • does not ask for the password
  • says it encrypts the folder however nothing created and log contains errors:

call: gpg [parameters] --symmetric [filename]
gpgtar: error writing '[?]': Channel broken
gpgtar: creating tarball '~/Folder.YEYzggB0.tar.gpg.part' failed: Channel broken

What is wrong? KDE bug? How to encrypt a folder?

Done with plasma6-vault for now - very clear and convenient!
