Thanks for the reply. I have reported this in the past, on versions 11.4
and 12.1. Both were evently fixed with some update, not which one. It
seems to regress each time a new version comes out. As for only on
Compaq, no I have two system one is compaq and other is custom built
Intel motherboard. The Intel one is running 12.1 also and it shutsdown
with no problems.

Is there a way to move this to help.prerelease-beta mailing list?

I will report bug again, was just trying to make sure its not just me.
