Trying to turn off KWallet. There used to be a setting in Configure Desktop / Security & Privacy but is not there in rc 1 (although it was still there in beta 5).
Using kde 3.5.

Worked it out!. I was just closing the kwallet pop-up but if you run the set up - you just select the ‘don’t use’ option and it goes away.
