Hey guys. So, I was wondering how I could make my OS stand alone, meaning I want to be able to install it on a computer that doesn’t have any OS’s installed. It works fine when I testdrive it, but when I try to save it, it saves it as .raw. I don’t know if .raw is stand alone or if I have to convert it. If anyone can help me, please do. 
In the build section of SUSE Studio you can choose various output formats
and build types, like LiveCD, Preload ISO, .raw files, .vmdk files, etc.
Try Preload ISO as the main or an additional build type and see if that
gets you anything better.

I tried it, but it still gave me a .raw file. Also it’s too big for my disc so I need to put it on a usb.

If you build the preload ISO, it should be an ISO image (I just built one
myself, and the downloaded file is named as such).
As I recall, a preload ISO can probably also be written to a USB drive,
too. The only other option would be to remove packages from the build,
or to run a testdrive instance and remove components of packages you
don’t need, and then incorporate those changes into the appliance.

Yeah, I don’t know why but it keeps giving me a raw file. I dont want to have to test drive it, because I want to be able to install it on computers that don’t have OS’s.

Test drive is used for more than just testing the build. You can make
changes in the image, then record those changes and import them back to
the image installed on the appliance.
