Raid 1 command

Howdy, hope all is well.

I am a newbie to linux in general and have a question. I have been doing some research into opensuse yast raid software. I have seen a few things to do recovery for. I would like to know how can i identify what command i would need to type to rebuild the array or what would be the proper procedure for this. I am just wondering so that if anything does happens i am prepared. The version of opensuse i am running is opensuse 11.3 “teal” - kernel 2.6.34.8-0.2-pae (tty1).

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

mdadm is the tool that does everything. Here’s a cheat sheet found by a search:

Here’s one of any number of tutes on the Internet:
