Radeon Legacy Drivers for openSUSE 12.2

I am trying to install the AMD Drivers for ATI Radeon HD4650 on openSUSE 12.2. I am using KDE. I followed 1-click install links here:

This installation succeeded, but in System Info, I can only see the 2D driver, and no 3D driver. Due to this, I am not able to use any Desktop Effects, and there is considerable lag when moving windows. Need some help on this

I suggest you look down to check recent comments, particularly those by the author.

The AMD site says I have to use the legacy driver for this card (HD4650). Will I be able to install the driver using atiupgrade?
