Привет всем! у меня такая проблема - на стандартном драйвере, при работающем DRI glxgears выдает подозрительно низкий фпс. Какова причина и как это решается? буду очень благодарен, ибо ни скорг ни гта3 нормально работать не хотят (тормоза вокруг), да и компизу прибавка бы не помешала. Вот логи:

И еще небольшие проблемки (не сильно важные)

1. Возможно ли на такой конфигурации нормальное воспроизведение 1080рэ
2. При запуске рутовских прог под обычным пользователем они почему то имеют интерфейс первого GTK. Как это исправить?

Попробуйте установить проприетарный драйвер ATI.

в новых проприетарных драйверах нет поддержки данной видеокарты, а старые драйвера ксорг уже не поддерживает. поэтому система работает на стандартных, на проприетарных 2д только

У меня на x1400 при обновлении отдельно Mesa и X-ксов заметно на глаз торможении в КДЕ.OpenGL 2.1 хорошо конечно,но не в моём случае.Разбираться не стал,откатился обратно.

Такая проблема:
Я хочу поставить проприетарные драйвера catalyst: На мою видеокарту (radeon 9550) подходит только версия 9,3.
Но версия 9,3 несовместима с версией ядра opensuse 11.4
Какой найти выход? Использовать одну из предыдущих версий opensuse? Если да, то какую наиболее новую?

Она одна всего, предыдущая, — 11.3.

Вообще, поищите по форуму. Думаю, этот вопрос неоднократно поднимался.
