Hello everybody,
I installed openSUSE 11.1 recently but like in openSUSE 11.0 my network card doesn’t work. But in openSUSE 11.0 I was able to reinstall a newer driver of my network-card which has a Realtek RTL-8169 Chip and after that it worked^^ Now in openSUSE 11.1 I also reinstalled the driver (a newer one) but it didn’t help. Everytime I write in the Console:

ifconfig eth0 up

I get a error message telling me the following:

SIOCSIFFLAGS: Cannot assign requested address

and so I can’t start eth0^^
I don’t know what to do anymore^^

Problem solved^^
I just mounted the network card in another PCI-Slot and now it works
But like in openSUSE 11.0 I have the problem (which i described a while ago in another thread named “ICS with Vista”) that the computer isn’t shown at the router (because it’s via ICS over an Vista computer connected^^)
