Questions About Wine

Ok so I’ve been hearing some talk about Wine. All I know is that it’s a Windows Emulator (or it runs Windows Programs). So what I need to know is how does it work because I have somethings in Windows that I’d like OpenSuSE to run.

Also, I’d like to know how to install Game Console Emulators (ie. NES, SNES, and all of them good ones) I know there are available but I’m still new at this that I don’t know. So any help would be appreciated.

Wine HQ & look for your apps.

For the snes emu, just hop to Webpin and search for zsnes.

openSUSE has a very good wiki page: Wine - openSUSE

It is a rewrite of the gluey bits to allow
Windows apps to work natively under Linux.
