Many users have upgraded, but I wouldn’t say there was a massive benefit in doing so. And from what I know/have been informed the upgrade will feed through regular updates eventually, so no need to add repo’s. So you could wait it out and see.
Others may have more info on this.
I’m using the repo upgrade on my main box and it’s fine.

No, if you get it from the openSUSE KDE repository it’s very openSUSE.

It’s very stable, the most stable KDE4 I’ve used.

I think it’s worth it, if I remember correctly, it contains a lot of bug
fixes which is why it’s so stable.

Don’t want to seem controversial to Barry, but it is no longer necessary to change repo priority in 11.2. Just use the package switcher. And in the order I showed them done. Otherwise you might loose control of packages like k3b which should be from packman.

Thanks for the correction Carl, I didn’t know that priorities don’t need
to be changed in 11.2.
Out of curiosity, why is Packman needed? Why is an upgrade to an official desktop like KDE (and for the official version/release by OpenSUSE) requiring a 3rd party repo like packman?
It’s actually “Software Management”, if you open that click the “View” button and select “Repositories” it will add a new tab, then click the “Repositories” tab and you will see that layout, hope that helps.
