So I doubt it, as packages will be frozen going into beta.
A way to track that is to look at the kernel change-logs @ The Linux Kernel Archives. There you will see they are working 2.6.27-rc6-git2 and the latest I have as of 2-days ago is 2.6.27-rc5-git5 (I think).
Anyway, click on the “Changelog” link & use the Firefox “Find” feature.
If and when it is added, it will eventually make it’s way into the release as a kernel update – although we may have to turn it on with a kernel config.
cheers, but i thought that LSB cerification was largely a matter of configuration, something that big distros worked out in concert with the linux foundation, like suses move to change kde folders in response to an LSB standard?
in short i am hoping that it is happening now, and 11.1 will be LSB 4.0 compliant on release…
It will be interesting to see if anyone notices a difference with this latest version of RPM. As I look at the list and the fedora stuff now it looks like it’s just a bit more efficient.
Not sure how to word this question, but here goes. In beta 3 when ever I boot the computer up durring the loading of opensuse I was getting two quick loud beeps from the computer tower. Is this normal? I’ve never had it happen before 11.1
