Question for YAST devs...

I’m going to be building a desktop app and we’re looking at using HTML//javascript/css for the GUI but we’re not sure of the best way to do this and map it up with c++/Java code. We know (believe) that the new YAST uses an HTML front-end and we’re wondering if someone could give us some ideas as to what was doen in YAST.

Thanks!

as a matter of routine there are practically no devs visiting these
web based forums with any regularity…

to have contact with them you need to go where they are…

which is not laid out in any easy to find way…

it is safe to say you there are hints on this page
http://tinyurl.com/ydjhegl under the heading of Testing Testing
Testing which will lead you generally to “mail lists” and IRC channels…

see also:
http://en.opensuse.org/Testing
http://en.opensuse.org/Communicate
http://en.opensuse.org/Communicate/Mailinglists

the last one lists a YaST mailing list, but i strongly suggest you
read, understand and follow the devs desired and expected netiquette
outlined at http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_mailing_list_netiquette
