I’m running 10.3 x86_64. The latest kde 3 and 4 from the suse repo’s.
If I try running quanta in either kde3 or 4 with Compiz enabled - the desktop crashes - Just as if I hit Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.
Without Compiz - everything is fine. So I’m guessing the issue is with Compiz.
Also I find Virtual Box doesn’t like Compiz.
Anyone else - can you verify/replicate?

I can verify the Quanta-Compiz crash. Do you use fusion-icon?
I found that if you choose kwin with fusion-icon and then start Quanta, you can go back to Compiz once it has started.
Yes I use fusion-icon.

Nothing new with Quanta crashing, try Bluefish.
This bug seems to be reported all over the net from users of OpenSUSE, Fedora, Ubuntu, against Fusion-Dev as well as in general Linux Forums.
