I installed qlix to manage mp3 player. When I plug in the player, I see the file list but I cannot edit it in any way.
What does it mean??

An mp3 player of any particular manufacture?

And opneSUSE 11.0 - correct?

amarok works well - get it from Packman repo.

I installed amarok but I’m not able to find it!!!

open a terminal type: amarok
hit enter

Ok, my fault, it was not installed.
Trying to install it I get some dependencies issues: I should replace a xine-lib or ignore that dipendencies. What should I do?

Indeed replace - It should use packman versions

My qlix only would work fine except for the device file deletion…
why I’m not able to delete files?

This qlix is from Packman correct?

And there should be no reason why you can’t use amarok

Some devices have a locking device to them or the removable card to prevent deletion by accident.

I’m not able to delete files on device trough qlix in any way…
Amarok asks for the device configuration: I should type in some commands but I don’t know which ones…

I previously tried with gnomad, it works, but it is lifetime long with tracks metadata downloading, and it download them at each use…

Seems that I’m not able to set up a simple managing software…:frowning:
