python versions higher than 3.4

Hey there,

I need any python version higher than 3.4 and to me it looks like through yast there is only 3.4 available so I installed the experimental version of 3.7 from https://software.opensuse.org/package/python3 which worked but now I don’t have pip anymore and when I try to install it it tells me that I should downgrade to python 3.4.

I appreciate any help a lot! (I don’t know much about linux/openSuse or python in general… so solution might be obvious but not to me)
Thanks

Tou can download from the following
https://software.opensuse.org/package/python3-pip

Generally speaking,
The repo you should use should be the following but indeed it looks like pip is missing.

https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/languages:/python/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/

Maybe submit a bug report to https://bugzilla.opensuse.org, someone might have an answer what happened.

Thank you so much!
It works fine now.

it says tumbleweed on that site - can I always use those versions as well?

It may be ok to grab a package or two but DO NOT keep a TW repo active if you use anything not TW.
