A one line prbolem description is seldom adequate.
What version of openSUSE do you use.
Do you use a Desktop Environment, and when yes, which one (KDE, Gnome, other)?
What exactly are you trying to do where?
Sorry, I use openSuse 13.1 KDE.
I want to set proxy for updates.
Under internet browsers I can use the proxy settings, because on internet connecting I can write my username/password in a popup window.
But I cant set the proxy in YAST->Proxy because my login name “xxx@yyy.hh” format.
(Sorry for my bad english)
Put the XXX@YYY in XXX as “Proxy User Name” and YYY as “Proxy Password” respectively. Then take out the X@Y: from the HTTP line.
The X@Y:example.com URL format just means X is the user name and Y is the password.
