We need much more information. What chip does your device have? Please post the
output of ‘lsusb’.
If you mean my device I assume you mean the nano usb adapter
REad about it here
I am currently using this device on my Windows laptop but would perhaps like to install in on Suse later on and eliminate the need for the cable.

Every PCI or USB device has a pair of 4-digit hexadecimal numbers that identify
it to the system. Those numbers determine what driver is used. The vendor and
model information is generally useless when trying to debug driver issues, or in
trying to help determine if a given piece of hardware is supported.
If you have access to Linux, open a terminal and enter the command
lsusb
If you only have access to Windows, use the Control Panel to open the Hardware
Manager. On the device in question, right click and select properties. In the
screen that pops up, find the “Hardware IDs”. How you do that will depend on
which version of Windows you have. Report the 3 hex digits after VEN_ and DEV_.
Until you provide that info, we cannot help you.
