Professional soundcard on linux/suse that works?

Hi does anybody have an experience about professional soundcard that works on opensuse?

Reason for this guestion is that i`m going to about get an pro
sound-card but i have no good idea which one is supported or works on opensuse, and i need an digital output: stereo-digital-S/PDIF-I/O.

M-Audio makes some obviously guide good one`s but does they work
on suse?

Every tip and opinion is welcome.

If you want the absolute cream of the crop, Audio Science is what we use. They’re quite expensive, but they’re the best. They offer Linux drivers that are built from source.
