Process scheduling configuraiton.

I’m developing an application running on top of Opensuse 10.3. I’ve been looking to see if I can tweak the jiffie counts up to 250/Sec. I am hoping that this will give more accurate information regarding CPUs activity. It appears that the boot kernel configuration parameters have already been set to 250Hz, but this is not being reflected in the jiffie counts.

Is there something else that needs to be changed to make this happen?

I can’t assist with your question, but I do suggest moving it to the Programming sub-forum. It will get better visibility there with those who have this expertise.
