Problems with Synce

Hey,

i want to install Synce 0.12. I download all packages from the Sourceforge-Site. When I run ./configure at libsynce Source configure said no DBUS found.

checking for DBUS... no
configure: error: odccm support requested but D-BUS could not be found

I use openSUSE 11 with GNOME-Desktop and I need Synce for Multisync to syncronize my HTC TyTN (Windows Mobile 6) with Evolution.

Thanks, Kai Opalka

I am using suse 11.0 with kde4 and installed synce package as well.

I have the problem that it is reconized by Hardware Abstraction Layer (according to yast hardware inspection)

Output:
1: udi = ‘/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/net_80_00_60_0f_e8_00’

But if i run ifconfig it doesn’t show.

i’m linux beginner…

Did you install usb-rndis-lite-kmp, and important have you configured then eth1 (your mobile) as mentioned on the Synce-opensuse site.
You also have to adjust your firewall settings.
So, as a first trial, I would just disable the firewall, then try to sync again.

Can you browse your mobile with Konquerer; rapip:/
